Where the grain comes together.

A grain that does not run in one direction. It arrives from several, and meets at a single point.

The square form is deliberately restrained, allowing the natural movement of the wood to become its defining detail. The grain gathers towards the centre, where separate paths become one place.

Light begins from that same point. It moves across the wall, giving the form depth and allowing the surrounding shadow to become part of the object.

No two pieces meet in quite the same way. The exact character of the centre—how sharply the grain gathers, how the light catches it—is never repeated.

We did not choose wood for how it looks. We chose it for how it lives with light.
